[he has actually had this conversation before. A close (let's just say) friend told him one evening and Silas refused to believe him, because he knows that person well. They are a lying liar who lies, nearly as much is! Given they are both druids, they didn't keep anything on them like a mirror, so it was never something that could be proven in the moment. Silas could always compose himself before finding something reflective enough to check-
In this moment, however... all he needs to do is dart his head to the side, to look at the reflective windows of the grocery. That'll prove it! Once and for all-
That they do, indeed, glow. Quite prominently, at that.
Silas makes a very, very cute pig squeak of a noise (albeit of alarm and utter indignation)]
[Okay, now that gets him to laugh - he even lifts up a hand to cover his mouth, but the sound of it can still clearly be heard as Hansa bends over slightly with a jovial amusement.]
Hahahaha! [HOO BOY, THAT'S FUNNY.] So even your ears blush along with you-! Haha!
Tha... haha...! [He doubles forward, hands catching himself on his kneeds. Wheeze! Silas can't help it, the laughter is contagious, he catches on to it quickly. A rather pathetic sort of half breathless sound at first, but it evens out into simply laughing at himself in earnest.]
Oh no... oh no! They do! They certainly do! H, how... absurd...
[It's nice, he thinks. Hansa has always been, deep down, a man who appreciated life, who sang its praises, who laughed in the face of evil and enjoyed what blessings he was given. In this dark town, in the middle of nowhere, with barely any clues as to what might have happened, its easy even for Hansa to start to get to wrapped up in concern and worry about what might happen next.]
[But to laugh here and now over some flowers that glow with someone blushing feels...good. Like a bit of light in darkness.]
Ha... [He finally laughs himself out, shaking his head lightly.] Well, like I said, its cute.
It's horrible! [Silas corrects, still laughing. A good burst of laughter is something be grateful to. For similar reasons, too, a release of far too much building tension and stress. It's refreshing! Humor is always something he could retreat into when life was difficult.]
Y, yet thank you. Good sir! For the hearty laugh at a ridiculous discovery. I needed that... something fiercely. [he finally lifts himself back to a semi-proper posture, wiping a prickle of tears from the corner of his eyes. Not what he was expecting of this encounter, but he won't complain]
